Try a continuous plank for 40sec, 40sec rest, then plank for 50sec, 50sec rest then 60sec plank, 60seconds rest. Then back down the pyramid! Can you do this every day for the whole week?

You may have seen the positive news that the government has now given the green light for swimming pools to re-open from July 25th. Great news for all of our swimmers! Whilst the green light is on for a return, we must wait for our pool operators to assess that they (and we as a club) have the necessary procedures in place and collectively we are all comfortable with a return to swimming. Swimmers undertook this during a live land work session at the start of lockdown. They need to do top (full extension) to bottom (chest touches the floor). You can break it up how you like - continuous or do 10 at a time etc. Get a total for top to bottom only. Do not count any which you have not achieved this! Good Luck!

THE EIFFEL TOWER CHALLENGE (Again). Can you beat your Eiffel Tower PB ? Swimmers should be getting good at this now and those legs should be getting strong! You will need to complete 1665 stairs ,so if you have 13 stairs divide 1665 by 13. You do not have to complete in one go. Remember - only upwards floors count. Good Luck!

It is with great sadness that we advise you of the passing away of Simon Lockhart, our Club Trophy Secretary, this week. Simon was unexpectedly taken ill on Sunday 21st June and sadly passed away on Tuesday 23rd June. Simon leaves behind Ali and his two children Alice and Samuel.
