The next of the first timers was Ben Howell in the 50m Butterfly who finished 15th in the Juniors. Tegan Gale and Sadie Warmington were also both first time to this competition, competing in the 100IM and achieving 1.10.94 and 1.12.41 times respectively. Both swims were pb’s.

Session 3

In the last session of the day was Nathaniel Reeve who broke the Club Record in the under 16’s 400IM boys in a time of 4.55.07. This placed him 11th in the Junior category.

All swimmers took pride in their performance and learnt a lot out of the weekend. For some it was a much tougher level of competition than they are used to, which can be the best way to learn and test yourself. For the more experienced few it gave them a great opportunity to test themselves and push their limits. Well done to all involved.
