Club Captain - Matthew Ferguson

Matthew has been in the club since joining as a very young swimmer and has developed through the WSC program to be competitive at National level.

He consistently works hard at training in the pool and in the gym, which are the major keys to all his success competitively. Matthew has a strong character and, as a loyal WSC supporter, is prepared to speak up for what he believes in.

Matthew is a very driven young man and wants to be successful at everything he does. He is an excellent role model, taking every opportunity to support and encourage both our younger and senior swimmers. Matthew is not afraid of exploring new avenues, which would not only be of benefit to his personal swimming career but also to the club as a whole.

We look forward to his valuable support and input as Club Captain.

Vice Captain - Brin Dorrell

Brin is a National level swimmer and very consistent trainer who has been in the club from a very young age.

Brin does not let a tough situation get the better of him and constantly strives to improve his performance in the pool. Brin has already proved to be a great success in engaging with the younger swimmers, using motivation, encouragement and adding a fun element to his support.

We very much look forward to his development in the role of Vice Captain.

Vice Captain - Issy Jakubait

Issy has been in the swimming club from a young age and is County qualified.

She has built a reputation over her time in the club as a tough trainer and tries to get the best out of herself at all times. Issy is a very strong character who is prepared to stand up for what she believes in, providing consistent and valuable support, in a positive manner, to her coaches, her peers and the younger swimmers.

We welcome Issy’s loyal and consistent support in her role as Vice Captain.
