Team Managers

Parents can come involved with the club by volunteering to help Team Manager at Open meets and Team events.

All training will be provided, volunteers need to have a valid DBS with SISC and be willing to attend a Safeguarding session (approx 3 hours, renewed every 3 years), plus a Swim England Team Manager 1 course (completed once approx 2.5hours).  These courses are run virtually so can be done from home.

A Team Managers role is to support the Coach and swimmers during open and team meets.  They will ensure swimmers are in the right place at the right time.  They offer support and encouragement to swimmers whilst they are waiting to swim.

It’s a great way to support the club, swimmers and coaches whilst still being able to watch the swimmers compete.
