One of the moments that really highlights our St.Ives Swimming Club and how we support each other as a team was our last event.  Anna was the only member of the club who signed up for 200m butterfly, however to support her friend, we had 2 other members of the club (who had just got out of the pool after finishing their last race) offer to swim the 200m butterfly alongside Anna, to offer support and stop her being the only swimmer.  Not only that, but swimmers and parents stayed behind, long after their races had finished to cheer her on.  Anna swam to a constant applause, cheering alongside poolside and swimming alongside her friends.  We are so proud of all our swimmers.
