Regional Championship
Six St Ives swimmers competed at the first big Regional Championship post lockdown weekend of 6th November.
Cathy , Chloe, Tom, Ciara and Amy seen in the photo plus William all competed at the Luton Olympic Pool in the East Region (Cambs, Beds, Herts, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk) swimming championships.
All the athletes swam superbly with many lifetime best swims achieved in Breastroke, Frontcrawl and butterfly from distances of 50m to 400m.
William won Bronze in the 50m frontcrawl race for the S14 disability class which was a great achievement for him.
A great yet hectic weekend was had by all swimmers at this event.
