WELCOME TO SEVENOAKS SWIMMING CLUB

Registering for a Meet

All club supported galas must be enterted via our online TeamUnify entry system, which can be accessed either via the club's website or the OnDeck mobile app. Any questions relating to galas should be directed to your child’s coach and/or the club’s Gala Secretary.

Signing up for a swim meet via the website

1. Click on the ‘Events’ link on the homepage.

2. Scroll down to the event you wish to enter. You can click on the event to read any information related to the meet, including the meet conditions. When you are ready to enter the event, click on the ‘Attend/Decline’ button on the right hand side.

3. Enter your username (email address) and password and click ‘Login’.

N.B. If you have yet to sign up to use TeamUnify, please contact the Membership Secretary who will send you a secure link to register to use the system.

4. On the next screen, click on the swimmer name towards the bottom of the screen.

5. In the Declaration drop down box select the ‘Yes’ option.

N.B. If you do not intend to enter the gala DO NOT select the ‘No’ option. All club supported galas only require you to sign up rather than declare non-attendance.

6. A list of all events will now be displayed. Please select the events your swimmer wishes to enter. Entry times are pulled directly from the club’s database, which is updated frequently from the Swim England database. Click ‘Save Changes’ in the bottom right once all events have been selected.

7. You will be taken back to the initial sign up screen shown in step 5. However, Member Commitment will now display 'Committed'.

8. ‘Committeddoes not mean that the entry has been approved and accepted. An accepted entries list will be created before the gala. It is your responsibility to check this list for any perceived errors and notify our gala secretary accordingly.

9. You should automatically receive a confirmation email with details of the events you have signed your swimmer up for (please check your junk mail if you don't seem to have received the email). You can amend your selection at any point up until the entry deadline within the TeamUnify system or OnDeck mobile app.

N.B. If your swimmer’s best times change between submitting the entry and the closing date for entries, please do not worry as times are updated when entry files are generated.  Also, please do not attempt to amend a swimmer’s entry times as they will be over-written by the system automatically when the entry file is generated and/or could result in the swimmer entry being rejected.

Credit/debit cards are not charged until shortly after the entry deadline. Once card payments have been processed, you should receive an email with a link to view the charges. The charges will include a card processing fee and club surcharge

Signing up for a swim meet via the ‘Gala Sign Up’ email

When the sign in opens for a gala, you will receive an email from the club. This is an auto-generated email, so please do not reply to it. Any questions relating to galas should be directed to your child’s coach and/or the club’s Gala Secretary.

Within the email, there are two hyperlinks. The first will take you to the general information regarding the gala.

1. You can enter the gala by clicking on the ‘Attend/Decline’ button.

2. You will be taken to step 4 above, so please follow the instructions from there.
