Turtles Gala

Stevenage Swimming Club annually hosts the Turtles Gala every year with generous help from it’s sponsor.  This gala is to introduce our younger swimmers gradually into competitive swimming whilst having fun at the same time. The club are eager to encourage all children of 9 years old and under to enter, from children in "Learn to Swim" through to squad members.

The gala is free to enter and anyone 9 years of age or under on the 30th June 2023 can take part.

This year we again would also like to welcome children who are not part of Stevenage Swimming Club to take part.  If you know of a child who is 9 years or under, who can swim one 25m length, please suggest they come along.  They will need to fill out the entry form below and return it as directed.  Trial membership will be given to all non-Stevenage Swimming Club members.

Swimmers can start the race by diving in or in the water, there is no pressure.  Certificates will be presented to all swimmers taking part, along with medals for the first 3 swimmers in each event and trophies for the overall top boy and top girl in both age groups. Please ensure swimmers have a top to wear poolside between races to keep warm and a drink.
