County Championships 2020 Part 1

A total of 24 Swimmers swam in the County Championships representing Stowmarket Swimming Club, In which they swam a total of 183 events , winning 27 Medals – 6 Golds – 7 Silvers – 14 Bronzes Achieving at least 113 Personal Best Times and over 30 Regional Qualifying times. Then on the final Sunday it was Relay day where other members joined us in which everyone had a fun time swimming with their team mates.
Well Done to you all on four weekends of great swimming.

Stowmarkets Long Distance swimmers who competed in the first weekend of County Championships at the UEA Norwich. Izzy , Katie , Becca, Matt,and Joe. Well Done.

Alfie, Jude and Finlay all Team mates in the 11years age group. All swam well.

National swimmer Matthew(15) swam a total of 15 events Winning 7 medals , 1 Gold in his favourite event 200m Butterfly ,2 Silvers in 100m Butterfly and 1500m F/c , 4 Bronzes in 400m IM, 100m & 200m F/c & 50m Butterfly , Achieving 10 East Region Times along with 7 personal best times. Well Done Matthew.

Izzy (14) swam the most events for Stowmarket 17 in total , winning Gold in the 400m IM, Silver in 200m Butterfly and Bronze in 800m F/S, along with achieving 9 East Region Times and 10 Personal Best Times , Well Done Izzy.
