We are a relatively small but very friendly competetive club that welcomes all swimmers coming from the National Teaching Plan at level 7 and above or any swimmers, to have a trial to asses the swimmer is up to standard and then help us determine which squad they will be placed in.

The club offers a great standard of coaching run by our very expericenced Coaching team theat run a small but Techinque and Sprint specific program, that has swimmers Medling consistantly at County level and Regular Regional Qualifiers with some going on to compete at Summer and Winter Nationals. We have designed this for all levels/ages of development.

We have the biggest Masters team in Cornwall and is very strong and ever growing ranging from 18 to swimmers in there 70s and 80s  that compete throughout the year at a range of events such as, triathlons, open water sea swimming, southwest masters event and surf lifesaving. 

Bude Sharks have a purpose in the Bude Community to allow all swimmers of any age to gain confidence, achieve a good standard of swimming and, if desired, be encouraged to enter a competition suitable to their level of expertise.

It is the Mission of the Club to ensure any member that attends reaches their potential whilst enjoying the training, enthusiasm and the social element of the club and the companionship of like-minded individuals, While giving them the basics to go on bigger programs and follow there swimming Career.

Our Future

Is to grow the club to a Regional Medal Winning Standard and compete in the National Areana League, growing the Size of our Youth team so that we are the swimming club that swimmers go to, to grow and excel to the next level in their development.
