Poole Swimming Club is a club with a rich tradition of supporting and developing people in the local community. The club does not only aim to help each athlete, coach, and volunteer to achieve individual goals but also fosters and develops a supportive communal team ethic.
Living by the club values of Commitment, Honesty, Courage, Unity, and Respect, and using the British Swimming Optimal Athlete Development Framework, Optimal Coach Development Framework, and Swim England’s Good Club Guide, our members can enjoy their journey through our all-inclusive sport, with a talented network of volunteers, coaches, and sports science support.
The growth of individuals, both mentally and physically, is at the forefront of the club’s vision. In return, the club receives loyalty from its members. Team unity and fair play are hugely important to the club. Coaches and volunteers respect the aims and wishes of each member and give all necessary challenges, encouragement, nurturing, and care, so members can reach their full potential.
