NATIONAL ARENA JUNIOR LEAGUE 2021: ROUND 2

Round 2 of the National Arena Junior League took place on 19th June. Following on from our success in Round 1, we raced two teams: Poole Roar and Poole Pride. We also swam a reserve team: Poole Cubs, so that as many swimmers as possible were able to raceThe easing of Covid restrictions meant that we were able to swim all age groups together in one gala by arranging each team around the pool and in the viewing areas. As a result, the swimmers were able to get a lot more rest than they did in Round 1. Once again, the swimmers swam brilliantly well with a big number of PB’s were recorded.

Over 150 teams signed up to compete in the 2021 League but so far, only 122 teams have managed to raceResults published on 24th June confirmed that both of our teams had done well again nationally with Poole Roar placed in 13thplace (a drop of one place) and Poole Pride holding on to 78thplace
