1500m Club Championships It was time for Poole Swimming Club's Metre-eaters to shine as the annual club championship for the 1500m took place at the familiar competition pool of Rossmore Leisure Centre on 12th December. Seven heats were played out to the sound of upbeat music. English Schools Swimming Association 63rd National Team Finals After a strong qualifying gala against the Schools in the South West during October, Poole Swimming Club athletes helped their school teams qualify for the 63rd National Team Finals at the iconic Queen Elizabeth London Aquatic Centre. Only the top 20 teams from around the country were invited to the finals, with a high standard of swimmers to compete against. Swim England National Talent Pathway Call Ups The coaching team is celebrating a record number of athletes being selected for Swim England Programmes at all levels of the pathway, based on athletes performances in the 2020-21 season.
