Weymouth Swimming Club – A club for everyone

Weymouth Swimming Club was established in 1825 and has a long tradition of teaching swimming, originating in open water work in the Weymouth Bay.

It is a very friendly club and caters for all levels of swimmers from beginners, improvers and competitive swimmers to County, District and National qualifying levels. A range of swimming related activities are undertaken including teaching, synchronised swimming and an active master’s section.

The club is based at the Weymouth & Portland Borough Swimming pool at Knightsdale Road in Weymouth.

The main club sessions are on a Monday and a Friday between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm. Training is available three nights a week with galas held, usually, on Saturdays both home and away.
