Welcome to Street and District Swimming Club, formed in 1975 and one of the largest and most successful clubs in Somerset. We are affiliated to Swim England and Swim21 accredited. The aims of the club are to teach and coach swimming to a high level of competence and to enable our members to enjoy a competitive swimming programme. Every year swimmers from our club compete in County, Regional and National competitions.
We currently have 150 swimmers from Pre-Squad (Levels 7 and 8) to National competitors. We are a parent volunteer run club.
We swim at Strode Fitness and Leisure Centre and at Millfield School (Main and Prep pools).
