Last weekend was the final weekend of the summer regional age group championships. We had seven swimmers taking part, in a total of 22 events. They swam their hearts out: plenty of personal best times achieved and two finals reached. A huge congratulations to all seven swimmers and a massive thank you to James and the team managers: it wouldn't be possible without them.

Rory & Lamorna travelled to Leicestershire at the weekend for the National Finals of the Pony Club winter triathlon (shoot, run, swim). Lamorna, despite having been ill with Covid-19 all week and still feeling below par, achieved a fantastic 4th place individually, with her team coming 5th overall. Rory also put in a great performance, coming 7th individually with PBs in the swim and run and a prize for the best swim in his class. Huge CONGRATULATIONS to both of them. They almost never miss training and it shows

Rory who achieved an impressive 12th place at the National Tetrathlon Championships in Warwickshire, and 3rd place in the team competition, assisted by a significant PB in his 3min swim. We are delighted to hear that TSC member Rory has qualified for the National Championships in Pony Club tetrathlon, which will be taking place in Warwickshire in mid-August. Pony Club tetrathlon is the precursor to the Olympic sport of modern pentathlon and competitors perform in four different sports: shooting, swimming, riding and running. Congratulations to Rory on reaching the championships. We wish him the very best of luck!
