2019 sprint club championships - weekend 1

Last weekend was the first weekend of our sprint club championships.  It was wonderful to see so many swimmers taking part, from our very youngest to the Head Coach.  Lots of PBs were set, and plenty of experience gained, in a great atmosphere: our swimmers certainly know how to cheer as well as to swim!  Very many thanks to everyone involved, especially the helpers and officials without whom the event would not have been possible.  We are particularly grateful to our referee, Mark Philipson.

The cake stall went down well too: not a crumb was left.  We hope everyone enjoyed it (the event as well as the cake stall!) and we look forward to the second part of the event.
