Devon County Championships

Twenty-eight of our swimmers have been in action at Plymouth Life Centre over the past couple of weekends, having qualified for the Devon County Championships.  They've put in some excellent performances: numerous personal best times achieved, 24 finals reached and three medals won.  There have also been impressive displays of resilience, with people putting disappointing performances behind them and going on to surprise themselves in a later race.  Very many congratulations to all; and thanks to the volunteer team managers and officials, without whom we wouldn't be allowed to participate.  Now it's back to training, before the final weekend of competition in just under three weeks' time.
