Having started in Marine Lake, the club still had connections with Open Water swimming until recently. the Club were involved in running the annual Long Swim event from Ladye Bay to the Pier – a sea swim of approximately 1 mile and our swimmers enter the Somerset Open Water Championships and the ASA South West Regional Championships. Unfortunately, due to the lack of volunteers coming forward to keep this event running, there will be no Long Swim in 2016 or for the foreseeable future.

ASA South West and Somerset ASA 2016 Open Water Championships, with taster event (750m).
Sunday 25 June at Weymouth. Races include 750m taster event, 1.5km, 3km & 5km.
