I have been coaching swimming for the past six years. Starting at Bushey Amateur Swimming Club where I've coached a range of squads from the seniors all the way down to the development swimmers. I then moved onto Hatfield Swimming Club in 2015 as their Junior Age Group Coach for county and regional swimmers aged 9 - 12.  I had the opportunity to coach at Olympic Trials and British Nationals which was a great experience.  I stopped coaching for Hatfield in April 2017 in order to go to America for the Summer.
I joined Watford Swimming Club in January 2018 as the Age Group coach where I ran a squad of county and regional swimmers aged 12-14. I consider myself to be a fun, knowledgeable and friendly coach.  My sessions incorporate a mixture of technique, speed and endurance allowing the swimmers to fully achieve their swimming goals, whatever they may be.
In March 2020 I stepped down from Age Group coach. My favourite moments during that time was definitely winning Herts Major League in 2019 in the top division as well as getting promotion into the premiere division for Arena league. I organised some fun trips to Liquid Leisure and to the Olympic pool plus I will never forget my yearly dance performance with my squad at the awards evening.
My role at the club going forwards will involve helping to run the land training programme (which includes a lot of Metafit sessions since that is what I am qualified in) as well as to help assist on poolside.
My main philosophy in swimming is: "Develop to Win, Not Win to Develop".  I love to win don't get me wrong but the pathway to winning when it REALLY counts is the main goal.
I have been a competitive swimmer since the age of 10 and made regionals from the age of 17 in 50m Free, 100m Free, 50m Fly and 100m Fly. I now compete at National Master level with Bushey Swimming Club.
I'm a keen dancer, TikToker (lol) and I love to surf and snowboard.
