At a-squad level swimmers you need to have the right mental attitude, you have to want to train to improve. Sessions will be challenging but in order for performance to increase, these sessions must be met with the right mental attitude to gain the maximum benefit.
Many also form strong long term friendships within the club. Some of our older swimmers get involved in coaching themselves and can also use the club to support their GCSE Physical Education course work.

Racing techniques will be taught as the swimmer progresses through the swim program, the further through the program the swimmer goes the more advance the training will be to them enable to compete at regional or national level.
