Matt rounds off a good week at the British Championships with a seasons best time in the 50 fly of 26.04 His swim in the 100 fly two days earlier was also a good seasons best time of 57.93. Overall a good week and we now look forward to the regional championships in 3 weeks time.

As we all know, Tim Munro left WSC last week after 11 fantastic years of service. We are pleased to say that Tom Davidson has been selected for Swim England's National Junior Squad for this 2020/21 season. According to Swim England "seventy-one swimmers have been selected for the squad and they will attend a number of online camps which aim to turn them into the stars of the future". Selection for Tom is based on his 800m freestyle and their were some 600 swimmers involved in the SE Talent Team's selection process. Congratulations to Wolverhampton Swimming Club's Toby Robinson on his inclusion in the 2020/2021 British Swimming World Class Programme. Toby, who trains at the Loughborough National Centre with coach Dave Hemmings, is one of only 53 British athletes selected for this programme. This is extremely important this season with the Tokyo Olympic Games taking place next summer.
