Westhill District Amateur Swimming Club (WDASC) was started in 1993 as a non-profit making club dedicated to the improvement of local swimmers. Since then the club has gone from strength to strength and has become one of the most successful clubs in the Scottish North District run by a large group of volunteers consisting of Coaching Staff, Committee Members, Fundraising Group, Qualified Technical Officials and Parent Helpers.

The club is committed to the promotion of excellence in swimming and the fostering of a sense of individual and team achievement within a competitive yet supportive, safe and fair environment. As well as the competitive aspect of the sport, the club also prides itself in providing an environment for the swimmers to establish focus, discipline and hard work ethics which prepare them for the challenges they may face later in life.

The club has excellent facilities for training and competitive swimming, and currently has a membership of around 150 swimmers aged between 6 and 20+ who compete regularly in local club run galas, North District Championships, National Scottish and British and European events with the potential for Commonwealth and Olympic competitors.

WDASC uses the Westhill Swimming Pool which is located on Hays Way in central Westhill, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The swimming pool is operated by Aberdeenshire Council.
