City of Wells Open Meet 2019 Wells Swimming Club hosted another fantastic 2 day swimming meet over the first weekend of April with clubs attending from all over the south of England and Wales. Wells Swimming Club produced some outstanding performances to win their 3rd round gala in the Cotswold League 2019, travelling to Stroud for the gala. Wells Swimming Club was back in action at the December County Qualifier Gala held at Millfield. New Head Coach Miles Denyer said he was pleased with the overall performance of the swimmers who competed for Wells particularly as, looking for future strengthening of the club, he admits that he has been working them very hard in training since taking over in November.
